Overview

A traveler who formerly held the title of Prince in Auremos. After relinquishing their title, they joined the guild as a means of making amends and to repay a debt he felt he owed towards Opal.

He is still trying to adapt to a more "normal" life, or perhaps the life of a hero in this case. Zaiere can be a bit blunt or standoffish sometimes, the type to distance himself from the rest of the group. His cold attitude can seem rude, but he's deeply scared of connecting with the others in the guild. They can't help but feel they are a bad omen, bringing misfortune wherever they go and to whomever they get close to. Getting attached to the others means risking the pain of something happening to them, or himself. Yet despite trying to tell himself not to care, his humanity betrays him every time, and one can see glimpses of the self he tries to bury deep within.

Personality

Straight-to-the-point. Calm, dry, sometimes sarcastic, yet ultimately mindful despite it. Zaiere has a good heart, though he tries to cover it with scoffing remarks and quips, shutting down any attempts at casual talk with quick responses. Even with the attitude, he's quick to speak out for other's sakes when faced with injustice, and doesn't beat around the bush when something needs to be said out loud. He is sound in his convictions and will not falter. Even when he lacks the confidence, he won't let himself stop moving.

Zaiere can also be highly contradictory as a result of their trust issues though. They can act impulsively out of fear, something even they know deep down they need to work on. They will try to make themself seem ignorant or unapproachable so others will steer away, yet is very down to earth and compassionate when they acknowledge the time for it. Says he doesn't care for the others in the group and is only here to repay his debts, yet stays far past the need to. His conflicting feelings and actions often are a point of conflict for him, yet they rather have the familiarity of conflict or chaos than that sense of peace they fear will break at any moment.

They wear a lot of loose, lighter colored clothing like gallibayas on normal days. Although on some occasions he likes dressing in more fancy clothing with gold jewelry, as a treat. Honestly they're probably also the type to like robes and have one of those dingly nightcaps to match.

Type of person to probably have a resting bitch face, not intentionally though. He just sucks at expressing himself around most people.
