A lively little rascal who only looks to enjoy her time stirring up mischief. While she’s very skilled in myr culinary abilities, he’s also known for being a cheeky prankster at heart that likes cooking up chaos wherever he goes. Mim likes to push the limits with things, and her curiosity really knows no bounds. Seriously, good luck if you’re trying to manage this one, he’s a handful and definitely should not be underestimated under any circumstances.

He might be just a kid, but he will outsmart you if you try pulling anything and it will not be fun, at least not for you. It’s better off just to simply be dragged into myr regular chaos than to stop her and make things worse. As much as he talks though, no one actually knows much about him or his origins. Agate herself doesn’t even recall her own past, oddly enough. Not even the large burn scars covering his body seem to be something that he knows the exact cause of.

With an upbeat energy and a beaming smile, Agate always seems to have his spirits up! It's hard for him to be knocked down, even in the most dire situations, somehow finding excitement and curiousity to all that he comes across. It's quite contagious, or maybe offputting? He is actually very easy to read considering her emotions are so out there. You know she's in a good mood which is most of the time since he's always chipper and such.

But she gets jarringly quiet when she's uncomfortable or genuinely scared, having a tendency to freeze up in situations that actually stress him out. Mim sometimes goes overboard with her prodding and poking people for fun, and is rather stubborn in her ways when she's scolded for things. Her excitableness can also be very unfitting in some situations, making jokes at wrong times when he can't necessarily read the mood.

It's always come natural to him, especially since his mother was very fond of trying to cook together. Despite seeming to not take things seriously, he has a clear fondness and talent for cooking.

Mostly just coming up with tricks and pranks to play on others. She just finds it funny for the most part. He tries *not* to go too far though so if he does its usually accidental.

Most tabletop, card or board games are of interest to him. Othello, Xiangqi and Mancala are some of his favorites by far however. Not many people like to play with her though because she always wins.

Agate, named Kemei Fengzhan, was born in the Ecliaros Districts with her mother and father; Kemei Xinyang and Kemei Wenbing. Her childhood was nothing particularly special, she attended school regularly, got along with her parents, a bit of a goofball but well-meaning overall. It wasn't until she neared her teen years for things to start to change for Fengzhan. Her parents suddenly decided to move back to their hometown in rural Huotan due to her fathers work, something that excited them as they could finally introduce Fengzhan to their family back home. Fengzhan, being so young, was not particularly thrilled at the sudden change-- losing contact with friends and having to get used to an entirely different environment than the city.

While in Huotan, Fengzhan struggled to connect with both family members and new schoolmates. He felt ridiculously out of place, in terms of personality and the jarring culture clashes. Fengzhan would spend around an entire year or two struggling with loneliness, closing off for the most part. One day though, someone new appeared. There were rumors of a problem student who transferred with a track record of jumping from school to school in Huotan, yet when Fengzhan saw the girl being introduced in her class, she didn't seem like anything special. When no one wanted to work with the girl for an assignment, Fengzhan would sigh and take it upon himself to.

To her surprise, she found that she didn't mind this girls presence. Her new friend, Yufeng Tongran, was born in Huotan yet was raised elsewhere for some time. The two managed to bond over their struggles and insecurities acclimating, finding comfort in each other as a result. To say though that Tongran would wind up having influence over Fengzhan wouldn't be incorrect.

Agate is inspired by the Carnelian Agate. His chosen name, Agate, reflects this inspiration. Her first name, Fèngzhǎn (凤展), is a name of Chinese origin with the first character, Fèng (凤), meaning "phoenix; symbol of joy" while the second character, Zhǎn (展), means "open/unfold". His surname name, Kemei (克梅), is also a name of Chinese origin with the first character, Ke (克), meaning "overcoming", while the second character, Mei (梅), simply means "plum".

It’s rather ironic that she’s a chef and a skilled one at that, given that she’s scared of fire. The skill Flambé took a very long time to master because of this.

She improvises a lot of her food when cooking, not necessarily following any rules and instead going by what she feels is right. His food ends up pretty unpredictable as a result, but that unpredictability is what makes his food one of a kind.
