Agate's friend from his past life. Although coming off as a cold and distant individual, the kind to scoff or not care about anything at all, Tongran herself is far from aloof. She's extremely passionate and confident about her beliefs and herself, certain in what she knows to be true and sticking to her morals like glue.

Not many really appreciated her blunt and overly harsh criticisms, but that never really stopped her from doing as her heart pleased, and to protect her friend from criticism. In fact one would probably be surprised that Tongran had been the more vocal one of the two, but that influence definitely affected Agate upon his revival.
